At Coach our goal is simple: improve the health and fitness progression of every member. Unlike other indoor bikes the Wattbike measures every pedal stroke and revolution more precisely, to give you instant feedback and get the most from your class.
For elite cyclists to enthusiastic beginners, the Wattbike is the closest thing to being on the open road that you will experience indoors and is still the only bike ever to be endorsed by British Cycling and solely used for talent identification and training.
Get ready to track your effort and performance through the display monitor on your bike plus on the screen at the front of our dedicated Wattbike studio. You will see your personal power reading, your technique, and your performance, all at a glance.
The all important technology bit…
With over 30 different performance parameters your Wattbike provides so much essential information, including:
Watts – as the name Wattbike suggests you can track and measure how hard you are working overtime (power) and your ability to move your body.
Cadence – otherwise referred to as RPM (revolutions per minute), this is your rhythm. The more you can improve this rhythm and find your ideal cadence the more your efficiency will improve.
Distance – how far you can ‘travel’ and over what time. Looking at this you can see how you are improving, and re-set your distance goals.
Technique – key to how you perform. Data is collected via multiple sensors to display a real time graph of your overall performance, one leg to another.
Average power – gives you the ability to benchmark your fitness and track your personal performance changes and achievements.

Our 45-minute Wattbike classes provides a total workout blending interval and endurance training. Unlike other bike classes your instructor will move around the studio providing on the spot guidance and advice as to how to optimise your effort and your performance, pointing out ways to get the very most from your workout.
Classes are limited in size to ensure that there is plenty of interaction between you and your dedicated Coach.
